What is meant by “prints on 80# brilliant white matte cardstock” and “includes white 70# envelopes”?

Both “80# (pronounced 80-pound) and 70# (pronounced 70-pound) refer to the paper weight/thickness of your notecards and envelopes. For example, a notecard with an 80# matte cardstock (80-pound weight) means that a 500-stack of that cardstock weighs 80 pounds. Since every paper type has its own basic weight size, a thick cardstock can have a similar weight as a thinner text weight envelope. For that reason, a cardstock with a similar weight as a text envelope can be twice as thick. Just know that our notecards print on a “heavier” white cardstock that our clients find most appealing – and easy to write on, too. And our complementary, matching white envelopes are just a tad heavier than a common everyday envelope.

Do I have to place my order before Three Pines Collection will send me a proof that shows the configuration of my personalized notecards?

Our current system requires our customers to place their order first – so we can create a grid design to convey the placement of all your names on your personalized notecard design. However, in the event you are not 100% satisfied with our proposed design, we will gladly refund your order amount in full. Guaranteed! 

Note, refunds can take up to 5 business days to show up in your account.

Will I be able to see a “proof” before I place my order?

No, not before you place your order with us. But we will email you a “proof” of your design configuration after you place your order. The “proof” we will email to you will not include the actual design of your wooden tiles, but it will be a “schematic” to show you the configuration (the proposed placement of all your notecard letters). Once you approve the proposed design, our production will get busy on designing your final notecard design. From there, it will get sent to our printing department.

What is a “configuration proof”?

A “configuration proof” is a very simple grid design that will show you the proposed placement of all your notecard letters. Please note that this “configuration proof” is NOT how your final design will appear. It’s simply a way for us to get your approval to proceed with your design, once we know you have approved our proposed configuration of how your letters will be placed on your own custom design.

What if I don’t like the proposed “configuration of letters” you email to me?

If you’re not 100% happy with the configuration proof we email to you, simply REPLY to our email to let us know the proof is not approved. However, if you would like us to make any specific edits to your proposed configuration, we will try our best to accommodate your request. If you do elect to not approve our proposed configuration proof, we will gladly refund your order for the full amount. Guaranteed!

How can I check the status of my shipped order?

When your order ships, we will send a follow-up email with the tracking information so that you can track the order and know the delivery date.

How long does it take to get my order?

It takes approximately 8 to 10 business days to print and prepare your order for delivery once you APPROVE the configuration proof we will email to you. From there, you will have the option to choose your preferred shipping method (see estimated delivery times at Checkout). The delivery method you choose will dictate the estimated time it will take for you to receive your order – or when your gift order will be received by the gift recipient.

Can you ship overseas?

No. Not at this time. Currently, we can ship to any location in the continental United States.

How will I receive my personalized notecards?

We box our personalized notecards in clear plastic boxes that house 25 notecards and 27 envelopes. (We always include a few extra envelopes!) So, if you place an order for a quantity of 50 notecards, you will receive two boxes of 25 notecards. Each plastic box comes with an attractive copper gift cord, too. And we then package your box(s) of notecards in a corrugated shipping carton and pack your notecards in hunter green paper shred to protect them during transit.

What kind of packing do you use in shipping?

Our shipping carton, mailing label and paper shred we use to carefully package your order are all environmentally friendly and biodegradable. Packaging is important to us. And we believe you’ll be quite pleased with how we ship our products to you or your gift recipient.

Can I get my item(s) Gift Wrapped?

At this time, Three Pines Collection does not offer Gift Wrapping services. But be sure to check back with us in the future as we make enhancements to our collection of product offerings and services available.

Can I include a gift note with my order if I’m sending notecards as a gift to someone else?

Unfortunately, not at this time. However, we would suggest sending a text or note to your recipient before they receive their gift of notecards. But be on the lookout for enhancements to our gift-giving capabilities in the months ahead.

Can I change the paper color or size of my personalized notecards?

No, not at this time. Our personalized notecards measure 6.25” x 4.5” folded and print on a heavy 80# (weight of the cardstock) brilliant white matte cardstock. Every order includes a set of matching white 70# envelopes (plus a couple of extras, too).

Can I make changes to my order once you have received it?

Yes. You can make editing requests to us after you receive our configuration proof via email. You may also inform us (via a reply email) if you would like to update the quantity of personalized notecards you originally ordered.
